The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are

I am a fan of everyday; it fills 80% of our living life.

That’s why it’s important to live it to the fullest – or at least the best way we possibly can, with the preconditions we have.

Yoga has eventually gotten to be my best friend. One, who time after time, drags me back into my own shoes and body, who helps me see things more clearly, calmer and guides me to breathe, when everything seems hectic. Someone, who gives me smoothening reality checks, when it seems like people around me is foolish and I feel sorry for myself. Yoga is also a friend, who has given me the strength to welcoming my newfound muscles, deep patience and balance in my life. Yoga has given me a good night sleep every night and the courage to feel my stomach, look my fear in the eyes and to follow my heart, much more than before.

Sadly yoga hasn’t removed war, catastrophes, deadlines, bills, laundry or annoying bike riders. But, yoga has insisted to force me, to try to withhold what isn’t always pretty and take it all more relaxed and have more fun while I'm tossing around in my day.

Yoga has helped millions of people, with life challenges like insomnia, headaches, stress, back pain, fear and low confidence. Yoga has different levels and everyone is practicing yoga for all different purposes.

Yoga is truly for everyone; even a tense, non-flexible, wine-loving, coffee-drinking, cake-eating adventurer, like me.

Yoga isn’t magic. But it is a magical feeling, when you feel the freedom in your movement and exploring yourself and your body. You create your own magic.

You are making your own rules and what works for me, isn’t necessarily what works for you. But one thing I’m certain of is; if yoga makes you happy and you feel in balance, then it works. Let that be your indicator.

To me, yoga is a lifelong spiritual practice. It doesn’t have to be that way for you.

But in my opinion, I think we should meet yoga, exactly where we are in this moment. No matter where you are in this moment, it’ll be a perfect time for you, to get back into yourself.  You don’t have to surround yourself with lightning candles and Buddha’s everywhere.

Yoga doesn’t require a certain way to adjust your life; to never have drunken nights, eat vegan or give up shopping.

Yoga is open-minded and will only do you good.

Anything I write isn’t rules, but advices, I hope will inspire you.

Are you ready to walk on a Yoga journey with me?
